Rainer Könner (64), head of the CRM Multinationals division, will be entering retirement on 31 March 2020 after many years of service for Helaba. Mr. Könner began his career in 1983 at Société Générale in Frankfurt. He then spent almost ten years as a key account manager at Schweizerische Kreditanstalt (Deutschland) AG, most recently as head of the Berlin branch. He joined Helaba in the summer of 1995 as the head of the CRM Multinationals division. During the implementation of the revised sales strategy, he was responsible for setting up a newly created client relationship unit for multinational corporations. For more than 20 years, Mr. Könner was responsible for the devel-opment and expansion of selected customer relationships across the bank's entire product range.
