Sabine König
Sabine König (47) has been appointed as a new member of the Management Board of LBS Hessen-Thüringen, effective from 1 April 2021. As a member of the Management Board, König will be responsible for LBS Market Service and LBS Credit Service. She will be following in the footsteps of Werner Hoffmann, who is entering a well-earned retirement on 30 December 2020 after 12 years on the LBS Management Board.

In 2017, she switched to the management consultancy sector by joining the Scandinavian/German firm Arkwright Consulting AG. There, she was able to expand her range of experience in the financial services industry by working on projects with insurance companies and payment service providers. Most recently, König worked at zeb.rolfes.schierenbeck.associates gmbh as a Senior Manager and sector specialist for building and loan associations (Bausparkassen). In addition to projects in the IT environment, she has also been involved in forward-looking issues for the industry, such as sustainability and data analytics.
