Dr. Detlef Hosemann to leave Helaba's Executive Board upon expiry of contract
Dr. Detlef Hosemann (54) will leave Helaba's Executive Board at the end of his current contractual term on 30 November 2023 in order to pursue other professional challenges.
Stefan G. Reuß, Chairman of Helaba's Supervisory Board, thanked Dr. Hosemann for his service: "In his role as Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Dr. Hosemann has successfully advanced Helaba's conservative risk strategy and, in so doing, has made a valuable contribution to ensuring that the bank remains in a strong competitive position in the market, despite the challenging business environment of recent years."
The process of appointing a successor is underway.
Dr. Hosemann joined Helaba in 2002 as head of the Credit Risk and Group Controlling division, having previously worked for KPMG Consulting GmbH. In 2008, he was appointed as Executive Vice President and a designated member of the Executive Board. Since 2009, Dr. Hosemann has been a member of Helaba's Executive Board with responsibility for Risk Controlling, Credit Risk Management, Restructuring/Workout and Compliance.
