Far from res­ting on our laurels, we are con­stant­ly see­king to im­prove our per­form­ance. That is why we con­tinu­ously collect and ana­lyse group-wide sustain­abili­ty data and publish re­ports on it.

Sta­tis­tics

In order to regu­larly re­view our pro­gress in terms of sustain­abili­ty, we collect the ap­pro­priate data and ana­lyse it on an an­nual basis as of 31 December. The focus is parti­cular­­ly on non-finan­cial person­nel and en­viron­mental indi­­cators.

Re­porting

Helaba is re­quired by law to report the material im­pact of its busi­ness ac­tivi­ties on the en­viron­ment and society. In our non-finan­cial state­ment, which is part of the Group manage­ment report in Helaba's an­nual finan­cial report, we de­scribe our sustain­abili­ty con­cepts and have them audited by an ex­ter­nal auditor.

In ad­dition, we pub­lish an an­nual de­clara­tion of com­pli­ance with the German Sustain­ability Code (Deutsche Nachhaltig­keits­kodex, DNK) and a pro­gress report on the UN Global Compact.
