Christophe Braouet (62), Head of Client Relationship Management for Institutional Clients, has decided to enter early retirement on 31 March 2020 after many years of service for Helaba. Mr. Braouet began his career in 1982 as a regional manager at Banque Francaise du Commerce Exterieur (BFCE) in Paris. In 1987 he joined Union Européenne de CiC, where he headed the Americas (North and South) and North Mediterranean department. In the summer of 1994, he was appointed as the head of Helaba's Paris representative office. Having assumed responsibility for the bank's international offices and public finance business at its Frankfurt headquarters in 1997, Mr. Braouet became head of the global banking department in 1999. Since 2003 he has been head of the division CRM Institutional Clients. In future, his responsibilities will be transferred to Thomas Leicher in the Capital Markets division.
