Dr Ernst Eichenseher to become Head of Risk Controlling

Dr Ernst Eichenseher (57) has been appointed to head up Helaba's Risk Controlling division and will assume his post no later than the middle of 2024.

Dr Ernst Eichenseher to become Head of Risk Controlling

Most recently, he was Head of Risk Management and Control at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank. In the course of his career, Dr Eichensehr has held senior risk management roles at various firms, including UniCredit.

He will succeed Matthias Zacharias (54), who is leaving Helaba at his own request to pursue other professional challenges. "We would like to thank Matthias Zacharias for the many years he has served the bank well and wish him all the best for his personal and professional future," said Tamara Weiss, Chief Risk Officer and a member of Helaba's Executive Board.
