Sylvia Trimborn-Ley appointed as Head of Compliance

Sylvia Trimborn-Ley (53) has been appointed as head of Helaba Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen's Compliance division, effective 1 July 2025, reporting directly to Tamara Weiss, Chief Risk Officer and a member of Helaba's Executive Board.

A graduate of business administration, Sylvia Trimborn-Ley most recently held positions at Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG, including that of Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to this, she served in a number of leading risk management and compliance roles at Aareal Bank AG and Commerzbank AG, among others.

Ulrike Daus (57) has headed the Compliance division since 2018 and has done so with outstanding commitment and dedication. She will be leaving Helaba on 30 June 2025 at her own request and by amicable agreement to pursue fresh professional challenges.
