Klaus Schuler (63) has been appointed as head of Helaba's Corporate Banking division with effect from 16 March 2020. This newly established division combines the bank's sales for multinational companies with corporate-related products including corporate and leasing finance, acquisition finance, sales and trade finance as well as balance sheet structure management.
Schuler joined Helaba in 1994 and previously managed one of the bank's client relation-ship management units for multinational corporations over a period of almost 20 years. In his new role, he reports to Hans-Dieter Kemler who, as a member of the Board of Managing Directors, is responsible for the business segment of Corporates and Markets. "Helaba's new organisational structure, which was introduced as part of the Scope efficiency project, means its successful wholesale customer activities are now even more agile and client-focused. Going forward, this will enable us to proactively identify and meet the needs of our corporate clients in a dynamically evolving business environment", explains Hans-Dieter Kemler.
