Helaba Invest brings Dirk Krupper on board as new Senior Head of Real Estate & Alternative Investments

Helaba Invest Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH has brought Dr. Dirk Krupper on board as the new Senior Head of the Real Estate & Alternative Investments Department with effect from 1 April 2019.

Previously, Krupper held various positions at Commerz Real Aktien­gesell­schaft over a period of several years. In his last role, he was in charge of product develop­ment and conceptuali­sation and, in addition, served both as Managing Director of Commerz Real Kapital­verwaltungs­­gesell­schaft mbH as well as Managing Director of Commerz Real AG's Luxembourg-based asset management company, Commerz Real Fund Management S.a.r.l. Krupper was respon­sible for product develop­ment and portfolio management across the asset classes of real estate, renewable energies and infra­structure.

“We are delighted that Dirk Krupper, an experienced manager and developer of large inter­national real estate and property portfolios, has decided to join our team,” said Ulrich Lingner, Member of the Management Board. “His expertise will help us to further expand our services in the asset classes of real estate and alter­native invest­ments.”

Helaba Invest's unique selling pro­position on the German market remains the systematic alignment of its investment strategy towards specialised, indirect real estate (multi manager) and infrastructure invest­ments. In addition to estab­lishing a track record in trans­actions over recent years, Helaba Invest has also been successful in building up consi­derable expertise. Overall, Helaba Invest manages a volume of more than EUR 10 billion in the asset classes of real estate and alter­native invest­ments.
