Helaba appoints Anna Streuli to head up CRO Office

In taking this strategic step forward, the bank is underlining its ambition for the future and preparing itself even more effectively for the growing demands on risk management. The CRO Office will focus on the management and coordination of ESG risks, non-financial risks and regulatory affairs.

Anna Streuli has built up a valuable wealth of experience in the financial sector and with numerous regulators as the Head of Post-Resolution Office within the Group Risk Management of Danske Bank in Copenhagen. In addition, having previously spent many years working in consulting for compliance and risk management at PricewaterhouseCoopers, she brings with her crucial industry experience in key focus issues.

"We are delighted to have Anna Streuli, a world-class leader with experience in risk and compliance, to manage this division," says Tamara Weiss. "We are confident that she will succeed in developing the newly established CRO Office within Helaba and, in addition to optimising our risk management activities, will play a vital role in supporting the bank's overall growth strategy."
