Christian Rhino is leaving Helaba’s Executive Board on 31 December 2024.

Christian Rhino to leave Executive Board on 31 December 2024

 At the end of June 2024, a decision had already been made that Christian Rhino (55), Helaba's CIO and COO, would step down from the Executive Board at his own request and by amicable and mutual agreement when his contract expires on 31 July 2025 in order to pursue new professional challenges. Meanwhile, both parties have concluded that the turn of the year is an appropriate time at which to give effect to this step that had already been planned and communicated. Consequently, Christian Rhino will leave the bank by mutual agreement at midnight on 31 December 2024.

Reuß thanks Christian Rhino for his exceptional commitment over the past few years: "As CIO and COO, Christian Rhino has played a decisive part in successfully positioning Helaba as a modern and innovative bank and leading payment service provider.
