Bernd Schade appointed as Chairman of the Management Board of OFB Projektentwicklung

Bernd Schade (57) has been appointed as Chairman of the Management Board of OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH and will assume his position on 1 May 2023. Bernd Schade, who holds a PhD in civil engineering, has almost 30 years of experience in the real estate sector. Following a number of management roles at ECE Projektmanagement, Union Investment Real Estate and E.Breuninger, he joined the management board of Bauwert AG in 2018. Most recently, he served as a member of the management board of Consus AG in Berlin.

Bernd Schade is following in the footsteps of Klaus Kirchberger, who had been Chairman of the Management Board of OFB, a subsidiary of Helaba, since 2016 and is now entering retirement.
