Helaba appoints new Head of Internal Audit

Anna Reich (39) has been appointed as head of Helaba's Internal Audit division and will take up her position on 1 May 2023. She will be succeeding Juilf-Helmer Eckhard, who is retiring next year. Currently, Anna Reich is head of the Trading & Accounting Audit department within Helaba. She began her career at the professional services firm EY, where her final position was as an auditor. In 2017, she joined Helaba and served in a number of managerial roles within the Internal Audit division before being promoted to head of department in 2020.

"We are extremely grateful to Juilf-Helmer Eckhard for his many years of dedicated service and wish him all the very best in his retirement," said Thomas Groß, Helaba's CEO. "At the same time, we are delighted that we were able to recruit his successor from within the company and that Anna Reich has chosen to embark on the next chapter in her professional life at Helaba."
